Short and Sweet

Good Evening All!

Believe it or not, I have been wanting to type this up for about 3 hours, but my "verse wouldn't change, and I don't want you to have to read the same verse over again.

I guess this is going to be more like a journal page tonight as it seems to be all over the place and just about my day.

You know I said yesterday was an "uneventful" day? Well, today had it beat by a mile. I Got home from church about 1:pm and that was the extent of my day. I don't have children to keep me busy, and my husband pretty well takes care of himself, I do fix his meals and that sort of thing, but he pretty well entertains himself, so that leaves me with the washing, dishes, TV, and computer.

I was actually going to mow the grass yesterday, but I couldn't get my lawnmower started, (it's a push mower) so my hubby did it on the rider when he got home. Needless to say, didn't have that to fill my time either.

Let me say, if anyone is considering getting Satellite for their Internet connection, think twice. We can't get DSL where we live (outside of town) because of the phone lines, so my hubby thought Satellite would be a lot faster than dial-up. It is faster to an extent, but if there's overcast, it reacts just like your satellite dish or cable. It gets S L O W not only that , I think around 4:pm til midnight, everybody on earth is on the computer, because it slows down to a crawl. I mean it gets so slow that finally the "cannot find the webpage", message comes up. I've been trying to get on the Fingerhut website to track something I ordered, and it is so slow it dies before I get to the screen I need. My husband called about the problem before, and they said it was because we had the "minimum pkg, or whatever that's called, anyway the cheapest. $60.00 a month! Well, he upgraded to the next level $80.00 and guess what! It's no better. All I'm saying is if you can get DSL instead of Satellite, I would recommend it.

At first we thought it might be just the company we are with, but my husband's cousin has a different satellite company and he's got the same problem. Go for DSL. My husband keeps threatening to move back to town, just for that reason, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

You know what? I think I missed named my Blog! It should have been called SOAPBOX ANNIE! Don't ask me where the Annie came from, it just sounded good together! Nah! I like my Blog's Name, and I'm truly not a harping type person, at least I try not to be, but when something causes a"bee to get under my bonnet, I just have to get it off of my chest. Someone once told me this was a good place to vent, at least until I am allowed to start advertising, doing book reviews and so on, so I guess I'm testing the waters.

I didn't figure you wanted to hear more about Tennessee, although I have lots more pictures. Even though the majority of variety was taken in Chattanooga, we took a lot in Nashville also. All but maybe two or three Nashville pictures are of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Studio B. I may write about that part of the trip soon though, because in a couple of weeks we'll be going to Branson Missouri, and when I get back, I'll have plenty of pictures of Branson.

Ladies, if I may say so, if anyone is looking to find a Fitness Center, check out your nearest "Curves". They are awesome. Not only do you get a great physical work out, but there are also weight management classes to go to. I don't know if all of them offer them, but if they do they are great. Also, it's a really fun "social outing". As I have said, I live outside of town and don't get to visit too often with people, so when I go to my work outs, I kid everyone and say my mouth gets as good a workout as my body does! Anyway it's really a blast! and anotherWasn't that a beautiful Bible verse at the beginning? I like knowing that I have my Savior to encompass me with His love and grace. The communion with my God is also very special. It is so comforting to know that I am never alone. I was looking for a picture to depict what I feel, and ran across this one. When I saw this, the first thing I pictured in my mind was a huge giant with an extremely gentle nature. I have no idea from where that thought came, but if no one else got that from this picture, I always have had a strange way of looking at things.

Well, I think I'm gonna call this short and sweet tonight. God Bless You All, and y'all come visit me ya' hear?

PJ your like me in many ways. SAHM without a child to care for. The days do get long and there is only so many chores to do. Also since we pick up after ourselves as the day goes how much housework is there really to do. That is why I do enjoy going to Curves, helping Mary and caring for Emma. All things to help fill my time. Otherwise my bottom would be bigger than a house sitting in front of this puter.
