Good Evening to All!

Before I do anything else, let me give a special shout out, Hooray! and Congratulations to Yaya for the addition to her's and Josh's family. I'm so excited for them! Another Prayer has been answered!

This is the covenant I will make with them after that time," says the Lord. "I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds. ...Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Therefore, ...since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:16-22

KJV - This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them: (17) and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. (19) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (20) By a new and living way, which he have consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (21) and having an high priest over the house of God; (22) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

For Better or Worse (from the booklet "especially for Moms by Robert J. Strand)

A man felt he deserved a long overdue pay raise. He told his wife that he was going to ask for one on this particular day. He promised that he wasn't going to leave the man's office until he had what was due him.

the opportunity to talk to the boss didn't happen as early in the day as he had planned. Toward the end of the day, he finally raised his courage in order to approach his boss. To the man's surprise, the employer readily agreed that he as due an increase in salary. In fact, the boss offered him more than he would have requested.

when the husband arrived home that evening, he noticed the dining room was set for a lovely candlelight dinner for him and the family. The table was set with the best tablecloth, the best silverware, best china,. she had prepared a festive, romantic, intimate diner to celebrate. He thought that someone from the office had tipped her off about the raise.

He went into the kitchen, told her the good news, gave her a warm hug and a passionate kiss and then, with the kids, sat down to a wonderful, favorite meal. Sitting beside his plate was a hand-written note which read: congratulations, Darling! I knew you 'd get the raise. These things will tell you how much I really do love You!"

The family all chattered and enjoyed the meal together. When she got up to bring in the dessert, a card fell from her pocket. He picked it up and read: "Darling, don't worry about not getting the raise! You deserved it anyway!

These things will tell you how much I really love you!"

What a truly thoughtful and loving gesture! We could also add that she was one sharp cookie!

Today's Special Quote

"There is something terrible about two human beings who love each other and can find neither the means or the time to let the other know, who wait until some misfortune or disagreement extorts an affirmation of affection."
Sigmund Freud

Love is kind...It always protects, always trusts, always hopes. (I Corinthians 13:4, 7)
