River of Life and An Award

Good Evening to All!

I would first like to get a couple of items of blog business done before starting on my main reason for this blog, and that is to type inspirational stories and Get God's Word out.

The first thing is that I would like to thank Yaya for this Circle of Friends award.

With this award you pass you it along to ALL your blog readers! So take it if you want it! There are so many bloggy friends who have befriended and help me though my blogging journey I wouldn't know who to send it to otherwise.

My second little order of business that I really wanted to include tonight is a link for Angie at Bring the Rain Seven Prayers a Day. This young lady has a prayer of scripture for what seems like Everything her children do. I think that is awesome. She prays while they get dressed, eats, goes to school, and sleeps and 3 others. I like them even though I don't have children, because she actually prays scriptures. God loves to hear His Word prayed back to Him. Anyway, stop by and take a gander. The button for it is on the lower right side of my blog. It says 7 x 7 on it. I love that picture.

Ok, now on to the Inspiration from the NIV

Jesus said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost form the spring of the water of life."...Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them., nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.
Revelation 21:6, 7:16-17

The angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
Revelation 22:1-5

Sit back in your chair and close your eyes. Think about the verse you just read, letting your mind mull over the words, water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God. In your mind's eye, (your eyes still closed), glance up and see the tree of life. It must be very large as it is on both sides of the river. Won't it be beautiful? This verse goes on to talk about how the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations and that there will no longer be a curse. We will be allowed to serve our King. It says that His name will be on our foreheads.I love doing this blog because I learn something new every night.. Can you imagine being somewhere where there is No darkness? Where we will have light all the time? No overcast skies. No cloudy days. Always bright and cheerful. I personally look forward to that, because I get depressed on dreary days.

This is neat to me, because I don't remember reading the part about God's name being on our foreheads. I remember about the number of the Antichrist being on our foreheads, but I don't remember this about our King. That is so neat. This is why I love doing this. I am always learning something new with each post. Thank you for this opportunity.

I could go on forever, but I guess I'd better leave some for tomorrow.

Good Night to All and May God Bless!
