God Has a Lot to Say
Good Evening Everyone!
There are also many other things which Jesus did. If they should be all recorded one by one [in detail], I suppose that even the world itself could not contain (have room for) the books that would be written. (John 21:25)
Reference Verse: Thompson Chain-reference Bible KJV--John 20:31--And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: (31) but these are written , that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

God has a great deal that He wants to reveal to us as His children. If we want to make hearing form God a way of life, we must be obedient to Him when He speaks to us. Each time we hear and obey, it increases our sensitivity to the voice and heart of God.
We have the opportunity to be what I like to call lifetime learners. I want to learn something everyday of my life. Our walk with God is a continual journey. It is a tedious one in which we need to hear from God and be led by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit has something to each you today and every day. Don't just read the Bible in order to feel that you have done your duty for the day, but approach it with a desire to learn something you did not know. They Holy Spirit is our Teacher, and I believe He has something special for us each day if we will open our hearts and listen. Let the cry of your heart be, "God, I want to learn more and more about You and Your ways, and I want to obey You promptly."
God's Word for You Tonight: You are learning and growing in Christ all the time. Look at how far you have come, not just how far you still have to go.

How many times have you felt a nudge in your heart to say something positive to someone, but dismissed it as just a fleeting thought? How many times have you felt in your heart to do something for someone, give someone some money for groceries or gas, give someone a ride somewhere, or just give someone a friendly smile? How many times have these things come into your heart and you brushed them off? These instances were God speaking to your heart. We all need to listen to these instances and heed them. The more we obey His nudges, the more we will feel them, and the more obedient we become the happier we will make God and the more we will be blessed. Every time I do something for someone else I am rewarded with feelings of joy and happiness, not to mention satisfaction of knowing I did something for God.
God is talking to us ALL the time. We just need to take the time to listen. Not only that, if we will pray to Him and ask Him to open our hearts, minds and ears to receive everything He has to tell us, a whole new world would be opened up to us. I can honestly say I feel at my best when I am totally focused on God. My eyes closed, everything else shut out to the point that any noise around me feels like it is miles away. All I can hear is my own breathing and my concentration completely on God. It is the most wonderful feeling! I become so in-tuned with God, that it's almost like I can hear Him telling me what He wants me to do. Of course it's not audible, because it is in my spirit, but I can feel it just the same. I know people may think I'm nuttier than a fruit cake when I'm driving down the road, because I am just talking away to God. I talk to Him just like He is in the passenger seat. When I do that first thing in the morning, my day goes so much smoother!
Good night to All, May God Bless!

The title of this post really does say it all. We live in a noisy world, so I often turn off everything so I can think and hear. It does work!
Hi PJ - I want to send this prayer request to you! My niece just e-mailed me her blog. I thought of you immediately!

great information and nice blog
Thank you Ms. PJ for dropping by my blog and leaving some comment love. I don't know why I wasn't following you before on Twitter...I still don't get that site but I'm learning. :) I think I'm better at Facebook than Twitter. I love how you said at the beginning of your post about being life long learners. I was just thinking about that this evening how I could (and most likely will) spend a lifetime studying God's word. And I love at the end where you mentioned talking to God in the car. Isn't it so amazing we're able to commune with Him any time because of Christ Jesus finishing that cup of God's wrath and because of grace? Precious. :) Thank you for your kind words over at my blog and I wish you all the best always.
Kindest regards,
Brook

PJ, you are so gracious with your comments. Thank you.
We all walk a "rutted" path here on earth, but it's so much easier if we walk in the light as He......
