Pencil Art The Art of Patience

Hello Everyone!

Before I forget I wanted to tell you that I was reading Keeping his Kingdom First http://kingdomfirstmom.com/ by Alyssa Francis and it is an excellent blog. I especially enjoyed her posts from tonight and the previous one. She had a guest post done by her sister who went to Nepal. The pictures and story were excellent. Drop by and take a look. Our "poor" have it good compared to over there.

I wasn't sure if I was going to be home tonight or not. We attended my mother-in-law's birthday get-together in Gatesville.

It has been a very long day and an even longer night, so this will be short and sweet. I have noticed a lot of you have "Wordless Wednesdays, or FreeWrite Fridays. That's pretty neat. I always enjoy those. Tonight, I'm invoking "Seemingly Empty Saturday" because for one I can't seem to type a sentence without having to go back and correct typos, and the other, I used all my brain power last night on that post. I got this really cool e-mail, and for those of you who enjoy a "different" kind of art, you might like this. I had never seen it before. I can't imagine how long it took or the tenacity it took to sharpen all of those pencils, break them, and place them in just the right position, and I thought latch-hooking took a long time! Not that latching is difficult, it is just time consuming. The closest thing to artistic I can be is playing the piano and keyboard by ear, and that gets a little hard bending over that far! Ha! I'm no comedian either. These are just amazing to me. I can't believe someone would have this much patience. Needless to say, I also need to practice on the art of arranging my pictures so they will be proportionate to my writing material. There. Did that sound like I know what I am talking about? I get too frustrated because when I think I got them all arranged nicely, then I put in a word, or take a word out and they all just seem to take a holiday and move all around. Oh, well, hopefully this art will come with experience. There were more pictures, but I decided this was enough frustration for one night, especially as tired as I am.

Good Night All, and May God Bless!

That art is pretty cool! I wouldn't have the patience for that... I don't think. Hope you're doing well.

There's a blogger that does that pencil art. I'll have to find her blog and get back to you. It's amazing!

People tend to be patient with those things they want to do, so this artist was probably enjoying every moment. :)
