I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first earth had passed away, and there was no long any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear form their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Revelation 21:1-5

New Jerusalem

The Greek term denotes "the brand-new Jerusalem." The New Jerusalem that comes out of heaven is plainlyh distinct from the earthly Jerusalem, the former capital of Israel. This is the city Abraham looked for, the city that has foundations, whose builder and make is God (Heb. 11:10). This is the city that exists even now in heaven, for Paul calls it the Jerusalem that is above (Gal. 4:26).

Thoughts to Dwell on (instead of troubles).
I have a few thought for you to mull over. First, remember that you cannot serve two masters and get into heaven. You must choose between God and "the world".

The other thought I have are a little easier. I say this because with the world the way it is, all of the "entertainment, conveniences and such that can keep your mind off of God and His Word, unless you are really dedicated to God, it's easy to get side-tracked, even unintentionally. Now for the more pleasant thoughts.

What do you imagine heaven will be like? Something that we can look forward to is God's promise of co-habitating with Him. We will enjoy fellowshipping with Him for eternity. There will be NO MORE pain, tears, sorrow, death or crying . Therefore, if you are in troublesome times at this moment in time, just know that God is with you now, to help you through them, and the day is coming when you will be troubled no more. Thank God for His promise, and receive His strength for today and His hope for tomorrow.

God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Since this is the case, He is also everything in between. He knows your situation and will lead you and guide you if you trust Him to do so. Rely on your heavenly Father to give you what you need, one day at a time.

Good night to all and May God Bless!
