Informative E-mails and Such

Good Evening Y'all!

I had this post all finished, then I saw the verse. Unfortunately, I can't see it unless I bring up the "blog", save it, then edit. Strange, I know. Anyway, back to the subject. This is one of my FAVORITE VERSES IN THE WHOLE BIBLE. To me, it says it ALL. If we seek the Kingdom of God first, then everything else will fall in to place. This is not saying we'll get everything we want, but as long as we seek God's will, then we'll get what we need. If our will becomes the Same as God's will, then all things will work for the good to those who love God and his righteousness. I know that's is not the exact words of that verse, but you get the gist, I hope. I can really tell a difference if I'm thinking, "I want, I want, I want, rather than what does God want For Me? All things seem to go smoother as long as I'm in God's Will and Not MY OWN. Ok, Preacher PJ is done on that subject. Although it is my favorite subject to talk about.

Hope this post finds everyone in high spirits tonight. I worked the Comanche Pow-Wow today, and I had forgotten what it felt like to stand on your feet for hours at a time! Believe me, next year, I think I'll take part in the preparation rather than the Pow-Wow booth. My feet and legs were swollen up like balloons!

Tonight I'm trying to bring you an e-mail which I received today. I have copied and pasted it because it had VERY graphic pictures with it, and I didn't want to include them in my post. If you are interested in the pictures, please let me know in my comments where to e-mail it to and I will gladly do so. Here is the e-mail I received

I do this all the time … I guess I won’t be doing it anymore !

A few days ago, a person was recharging his mobile phone at home.

Just at that time a call came in and he answered it with the
Instrument still connected to the outlet.

After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained
and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud.

His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers. He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death.

Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!
FORWARD THIS TO THE PEOPLE THAT MATTER IN YOUR LIFE!!!!

It is with earnest hope that no one does that, but I'm sure if one person did it there are probably more. I know I have done it once or twice, but as the person above stated, "I won't be doing it again".

On a lighter note, I hope to receive my "Blogging for Dummies" book soon, so that I will be able to take full advantage of my Blog. I have been trying to figure out how to "grab buttons" and place them on my Blog from other Blogs, but the only help I found on-line is someone saying I needed to know the other Blogs code for that. Lynette has been so gracious and patient I hate to keep bothering her, so I will continue to wait until I get my book. Hopefully it will be in there. Couldn't figure out any pictures for this post and didn't want to be graphic, so it is particularly BLAH, but maybe the content will make up for pretty pictures.

This is all for tonight. God Bless You All.

PJ

The story about being electrocuted by answering a charging cell phone is a hoax.
See http://www.snopes.com/horrors/techno/cellcharge.asp
for a detailed discussion of this hoax.
