Preventative Measures

Sun Bible!Image by Denis Collette...!!! via Flickr

Good Evening to All!

I read the above verse, and didn't quite catch it, so I decided to illiterate by typing the same verse according to the Amplified Bible. I am going to type the verse which comes before it also so that the context will be shown.

(17) [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets]in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

(18)By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones).

Inspirations from the NIV

None of us live to ourselves alone...we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:7-8

Live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. 1 Peter 3:8

The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:17-18

PSP ( Public Service Post) Two-Way Mirrors

I was hoping I might find a picture of some sort to go along with this part of the post, but I checked on line, and just by looking you cannot tell one mirror from another. I also noticed that where I was looking for a mirror photo, they had an article similar to this one, and the author of the article (Mr. Kohler) said that the "fingernail test" definitely works. My problem would be I don't have fingernails (I bite mine). Maybe this should be an incentive for me to quit biting them. NOT! I've done it for 55 years, I doubt if I'll ever stop. Anyway, be reassured that the test works. Gals, start using it! Perverts are getting more and more common.

I know many of you have probably seen this, but in my estimation, I would be remiss in not following my feelings and putting this up for public review. As I have said in the other PSP's (public service post) I have typed up, if this saves even one person from being a "victim", then I feel like it (this post) accomplished what I have intended.

A Mirror or a 2-Way Glass?
How can you tell when you are in a room, restroom, motel etc. with a mirror or a 2-way glass? Here's how: I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you're going to do what I did and find the nearest mirror. Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? A policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars and techniques for businesswomen passed this on.
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i..e., they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by looking at it.
So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? Just conduct this simple test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE! IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!
"No Space, Leave the Place" So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything.
REMEMBER. No Space, Leave the Place:
Ladies: Share this with your girlfriends, sisters, daughters, etc.
Men: Share this with your wives, daughters, daughters-in-law, mothers, girlfriends and/or friends.

Another interesting thing I ran across while looking for a picture , was a complete glass bathroom. I mean Everything was made of glass, even the bathroom door! Not only the shower door, the bathroom door going into the other room. I wonder what they hope to gain from having a glass door. It's not like people couldn't see through it. I wasn't frosted or anything. Strange.

Guess I'll close this out and go check on my laundry so I can get to bed. I hope y'all remembered to set your clocks back so you wouldn't be late for church. By the way, just in case you think it strange, I sometimes start my posts early in the evening or afternoon, and save it hoping to find something else of interest to add to it. If I don't do it this way, I tend to forget by the time I get around to typing my whole post. It's not that it takes me 5 or 6 hours to write the post. Haha! I'm slow, but not quite that slow. See ya tomorrow.

Good Night All and May God Bless.

i would love a glass bathroom if.....someone else was cleaning all of it. can you imagine the place after a hot shower all fogged up. could not have enough glass cleaner to get it all done.

Did you read this at Snopes?

To be honest, I disregard many forwards of this nature because for the most part they cause people to fear everyday living and our God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. :)

We expected early arrivers to come yesterday for church, but no one did. For gaining an hour of sleep, it sure was sluggish. It usually takes me about a week to become fully adjusted to normal time again.

May the Lord bless you,
Kim
