The verse above...2 Corinthians 3:6 Amplified Version
[It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ', not [ministers] of the letter, (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive. [Jer. 31:31.]
According to my study Bible ( The Inspirational Study Bible by Max Lucado), He explains the verse this way in his "Life Lesson". He is teaching on Verses 1-18, but I think we can get the idea: The situation: False teachers confused the Corinthian church and undermined Paul's ministry.
Observation: As a minister of the New Covenant, Paul defended the sincerity of his ministry. Paul also illustrated that salvation was received by accepting the gospel rather than by trying to keep the Jewish Law.
Now my favorite part is the Inspiration: The outstanding characteristic of a Christian is this unveiled frankness before God so that the life becomes a mirror for other lives...Beware of anything which would sully that mirror in you; it is nearly always a good thing, the good that is not the best. (I don't know how many of you knew this definition, but according to Webster's sully means to soil or tarnish). Now back to the point. The golden rule for your life and mine is this concentrated keeping of the life open towards God... The rush of other things always tends to obscure this concentration on God...Let other things come and go as they may, let other people criticize as they will, but never let anything obscure the life that is hid with Christ in God. (From My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers.)
Application: Our first reactions to people and circumstances tell who we really are. If someone cuts you off on the road, what is your first reaction? If someone corrects you, what is your first reaction? What will be your first reactions to the people and places you encounter today? Which ones need a make-over?

Daily Inspirations from the NIV
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:9-10
The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Galatians 6:8

Good Evening Everyone!
I went over to the "r House Blog" and saw some of the most adorable children up for adoption. It just makes your heart melt to see these kids and know that they need to be adopted into good homes. I wish we could, but it's not in the cards for us. I am going to try and do my little part to help them by joining in Matching Mondays. At least I hope to, I'm gonna talk some more to Yaya when I get a chance between now and Sunday, I hope. I'm one of those that needs a lot of details in what and how to do stuff. Anyway, that's something new on my "agenda".
I am also taking up the ASPCA torch. I've got this little button on the left sidebar of my blog and if y'all will click on it, your clicks will provide so many bowls of food for the animals in shelters. By clicking, it will take you directly to their website which will explain the how's, why's and wherefore's. Anyway click away. It doesn't cost anything. You might save a puppy or kitten or whatever else the shelters pick up. I would love to see them do away with Euthanasia (except for Rabid dogs, or dangerous dogs that have mauled people). Anyway, that part's just my opinion.
These causes being stated, my main reason for this blog has been and still is as a Christian blog to get His Word out. Thus, the Bible Seeds Devotions, and Scripture. I love learning about the Lord and it helps me to type what I read. It seems to stick better. This way, I learn it and may plant a little seed here and there while doing it. I'm continually trying to find different books to get lessons or devotions out of, and come up with different ideas to keep you interested in not only reading my blog, but also maybe getting more interested in the Word. You know, maybe reading something I have written, then doing a little more research on it and as the Bible says proving ( or testing what I have said, to make sure it lines up with the Word of God, not that it wouldn't because I get it straight from the Bible except for the Book the Bible Seeds, which is just a little devotional book. Although it does list the scriptures. The other is directly from the NIV Devotional Bible. The rest of my Biblical material is straight from the Bible, be it, New King James, King James, NIV, Amplified Bible. or even the Revised Standard Version which I received when I was about 9 years old. Thank goodness His Word never changes! I don't take to change well.(Ha).
Good Night All and May God Bless!
