Good Evening to All!
I am typing this post rather early, because I am getting ready to go to the church and help with our Annual Church Fund Raiser (making Chocolate and Peanut Butter Easter Eggs). It is our biggest Fundraiser of the year. Anyway, I'll be off to that shortly. Also, I won't be able to do the post when I return home, because I will have to get to bed pretty quick. I have trouble getting up at 7:30 am, and tomorrow I have to get up by 4:00am. I have to take my hubby to the hospital for surgery. He's have the cartilage (spelling) scraped out of his nose. The doctor said that he has so much cartilage built up that it's closing up his nostrils so he can't breath. Anyway, he's getting it removed tomorrow. So it will be a full day for me.

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:18
Ever since I heard about your faith in the LORD Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayer.
Ephesians 1:15-16
The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer.
1Peter 3:12
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in ALL (my capitalization) circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians5:16-18
We always thank God you all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hop0e in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6
"My little Note"
God answers prayer. He keeps His ears open to the righteous. Righteous means living for God. Notice I did not say Perfect. We ALL sin, but we must repent sincerely to be considered righteous. Do not "disregard the Lord's instructions, (and He does give them, you just have to be listening with your heart to hear them.) Stay in obedience to the Lord. He will answer otherwise, the answer just will come quicker if you show your love and righteousness toward our King.
After reading these scriptures, I do not understand how anyone could have the mindset of "God doesn't want to be bothered by us all the time, so I just pray for the "big stuff". He loves for us to pray and ask for His help no matter how big or how small. He is interested in every aspect of our lives, and wants to be a part of it, but will not intervene or take part unless He is invited. He's waiting to be asked.
He says to pray continually. That does not sound like someone who doesn't want to be bothered.
He enjoys listening to us "pray in the Spirit" . That is when our focus is completely on Him and we pray in His heavenly language It is such an awesome feeling when He is in control! Another little tid-bit is about praying the scriptures. He loves to have His own Words prayed back to him. So we should also pray the scriptures. I like to do this because sometimes I know what I want to pray, but not how, so I open my Bible and just start praying scriptures.
Well, I think I will call this "my post for the night". I need to get hubby's supper ready before I head for the church.
Good Night to All and May God Bless~

Well said and a great reminder to us all. God is in the details so we should pray for the details. Amen
It's amazing to me how many times our posts seem to go together. Sometimes everything I read from people are all on the same theme--as if we are all going by the same outline. I guess we are going by the same outline--the Holy Spirit. Hope things go well for your husband's surgery and it is a huge success. It's a terrible feeling not be be able to breathe well.
Good luck in the morning! I pray all goes well and he recovers quickly!
